We're Here for the Memorial Day Weekend!

What better way to spend that extra day of a holiday weekend?  Be nice to yourself and take a class (or several) at Yoga for Life.  We'll be offering most of our regularly scheduled classes thoughout the Memorial Day weekend and also a special Yoga Workout Workshop with Yoganand Michael Carroll.  Hope to see you ... and please bring a friend!

2nd Monday Yogi Lunch

Please join teachers, students and friends of Yoga for Life for lunch at Freedom Park on the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m.  Bring your lunch ... rain or shine!  Meet at the top of the hill overlooking the lake or, if it's raining, meet at the shelter across the bridge near the train.

Cost-Saving Pass for You!

We've created a super cost-saving pass at Yoga for Life!  Wow! 
- 100-Class Pass - For those who regularly attend 2 classes each week throughout the year, consider this pass!  This "annual" pass lasts a full year from the date of first use and costs only $799!  Save more than $300 a year over the price of 20-Class Passes!
Special Note:  No extensions will be authorized.  Ask for details!

Pick 6 This Spring

Have you tried every experience Yoga for Life has to offer?

During May and June, try everything and win with our Pick 6 promotion.  Each time you participate in a class with a different teacher (not a different class with the same teacher ... a different teacher), ask that teacher to initial your yellow Pick 6 card.  Once you have the initials of six teachers, drop your card at the desk and become eligible to win a 10-Class Pass. 


Rules/Conditions:

Use drop in classes or any kind of a pass (except PUMP) to participate.
Enter more than one card! 
Drawings on May 31  and June 30. 
Cards completed in May will remain eligible for June drawing as well!

Yoga Matters

Centered Wellness is committed to supporting our community -- through both donation-based classes and contributions to non-profit organizations.  That's what Yoga Matters on 1st and 3rd Friday nights is all about.  Each 75-minute Yoga Matters class begins at 6:00 p.m. and is suitable for all experience levels. 

Here's the schedule for upcoming classes:

  • April 20th - Augustine Project (Maureen)
  • May 4th - Pranakriya Meditative Posture Workshop (No Yoga Matters)
  • May 18th - My 1st Suit (Harry)

You Asked for It

If you've enjoyed eating the Dark Chocolate Clusters we've been serving at Centered Wellness, you'll really appreciate how simple they are to make.  You'll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Dark Chocolate
  • 1 c. Unsweetend Craisins (or less to taste)
  • 1 c. Lightly Salted Cashew Pieces (or less to taste)

Melt the chocolate over low heat, stirring continuously.  Allow to cool slightly.  Stir in craisins and cashews.  Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheets and refrigerate for at least 90 minutes.  Release clusters by pressing diagonal corners of the cookie sheet.  Enjoy!!!
